Professional tool reviews for professionals

We had some random projects to wrap Clint's house and received a reason to complete them in the form of the new Senco FinishPro 18BMg Brad Nailer. It is trialled with Senco's new Hybrid Hose and some rotary joints. When used with Senco's PC1010N 1-gallon compressor, we can use a lightweight "catch away" to complete the system.

The weight of Senco FinishPro 18BMg is only 2.8 pounds. This can be largely attributed to the use of magnesium in the material selection. Magnesium has the same high strength as steel but is much lighter in weight. They also adopted a composite structure in the magazine.

As shown in the model number, this manicure nail is a model of 18 specifications. It can handle nail lengths from 5/8" to 2-1/2". The composite magazine can hold up to 100 nails. Common applications of this model include exterior decoration, chair railings, skirting, ornaments, bottom covers, cabinets, furniture repairs, small decorations and craft assembly.

The motor is oil-free and requires almost no maintenance, thus making your productivity higher. The exhaust port can be pointed 360 degrees without any tools to keep the exhaust away from you and the work surface. The rotating belt hook makes climbing applications more convenient.

Although most of the completed work is accurate, some requirements are lower than others. You only need to tap the switch to switch between impact and continuous shooting modes. Press the spring-loaded button on the right side of the trigger and turn it to make changes.

For those sophisticated applications, the front light can help you check the location. Although there is no dry fire shutdown, the lower magazine indicator helps reduce dry fire accidents. The standard thumbwheel adjustment depth and non-scratch tip complete its main functions.

You need to provide a cable entry plug because the nail driver does not come with a cable entry plug. We recommend using one of Senco's new rotary plugs to help reduce the pressure around the connection point and work in a narrower area.

With the innovation provided by the wireless nailing machine, you want to know why you want to use a traditional pneumatic model when running a punch list or doing refurbishment work. But the problem is that we have encountered two situations. The small form factor of Senco FinishPro 18BMg Brad Nailer is necessary to complete the job.

The first situation involves placing a quarter-round molding under the existing bathroom sink. The dressing table is a 60-inch wide antique claw foot model, which is installed before the shoe mold is in place. As a result, the molded part needs to be inserted and nailed into place-it is best not to remove the entire sink assembly and wash basin. The dressing table is also fixed in the wall al, so the gap at the bottom is only 4-1/2 inches, and the gap at the side is only 4 inches.

This is too narrow for any battery-powered nail nail.

We can install Senco FinishPro 18BMg under the dressing table to fix the center part of the rear quarter circle in place, and fix the left and right ends along the sides. Then, we rotate the tool sideways and nail it to the side plate. This work requires narrow tools, Senco FinishPro 18BMg has a suitable gap.

The next job that requires the use of a more space-conscious pneumatic nail machine is a similar application, including the installation of quarter-circle decorative pieces beside and behind the existing toilet. Senco FinishPro 18BMg can clean the width and help us nail the trim perfectly, while our cordless model is too long from beginning to end. In an ideal situation, when you install a trim like this, the toilet will never be in place, but-as we all know, certain situations are never ideal.

Senco FinishPro 18BMg really has nothing to complain about, it is lightweight, ergonomic, and has performed perfectly for us so far. The only thing I want to add is the fire suspension. There are cheaper Brad nails on the market, but it will be hard to find a comfortable nail. This model makes it easy to find houses of Pro rebuilders, carpenters and carpentry shops.

DCS has been watching Mythbusters most of the time, trying to figure out what their blurred labels said so that he can reproduce the explosion. His hobbies include imitating Chuck Norris imitating Sean Connery and fishing. David does his own stunt.
